My debut comedy short film. A cheeky comedy, retelling the Aladdin tale set in London's Little Middle East. Ali, a disallusioned British Muslim lad is on his way home to break his Ramadan fast. On his journey he finds a pound coin and buys a lamp in a Bargain Pound Store, only to discover the lamp is home to an old incompetent but well meaning Jewish Genie... An improbable friendship is formed as Ali and the Genie voyage through one misunderstanding after another.
